#3 Blake Griffin
Chris Paul’s mid-season injury last year was a blessing in disguise to Blake Griffin. With their floor leader unable to perform, Griffin stepped up to the plate and showcased his full offensive repertoire. His 4 assists per game placed him 2nd amongst power forwards in the NBA. Blake emerged as a complete player offensively last year. Griffin was used on 29% of Clippers possessions while shooting a career high 59% from the field. While the stats may not show it, Griffin and the Clippers were also much better defensively last year. He has quick feet and is able to handle switches with ease on the pick and roll. With a strong supporting cast and great coaching, Blake could be in position to make a push for MVP this season.
