should be renamed baby hedgehogs trying not to drown in my sink while i film them.
Quentin
SONIC CANT SWIM!!!!
Anonymous
aww poor hedgehogs they wanted to get out.
justme
Have you ever had a hedgehog? They try to get out of a dry sink. They poop everywhere when ever they get the urge. They chew the stinkiest thing they can find and spit it on themselves, you have to clean them. A little water doesn’t hurt them
Anonymous
yeah im usually not that person to write negative comments on videos with cute baby animals, but this is torture actually. giving them a bath is one thing but the fact that they were desperatly trying to get out and when one did you put him back in the water? fucking idiot
http://mika.onida@gmail.com Shannon
Oh yeah, cause insisting your kid get back in the shallow end of the pool so they can learn to swim is torture too.
Hedgehogs can swim and almost all love floating in the water… but the first couple time’s are gonna freak it out.
NONE-YA
LISTEN, DUMB-ASS, TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO SWIM AND FORCING INFANT ANIMALS TO STAY IN A SINK FILLED WITH WATER IS TWO SEPARATE THINGS!! WOULD YOU FORCE YOUR 8 WEEK OLD BABY TO STAY IN A SWIMMING POOL FULL OF WATER? WITH OUT SOMEONE IN IT WITH THEM? WHEN THEY MANAGED TO GET OUT WOULD YOU TOSS IT BACK IN, STAND BACK AND KEEP FILMING? THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE AND I AM REPORTING IT.
Anonymous
As a keeper of hedgehogs myself I can tell you that you can bathe them, and this is absolutely how NOT to do it!!
preteriific
use more ballast or a bigger sink
becky
wow I am NEVER the one to leave a negative comment about animal videos, but jesus, those things can’t even touch their feet to the bottom. Would you bathe a puppy by sticking him in a kiddie pool and making him swim around?
JP
Yes. I would.
NONE-YA
YOU ARE WORSE THAN A PEDOPHILE!!

this made me sad, they were terrified … like another commenter said, the water was too deep for such an early age
justme
If the hedgehogs had been terrified the quills would have been poking out not laying down. They aren’t being hurt. By the way they hate to have their claws clipped too, but they get really gnarly if you don’t do it. It took 2 of us to do this with our hedgehog and it looked like 2 big ole humans ganging up on a tiny little pin cushion.
Scotty
SPOT ON MATE, just gotta get em freaked out enough so they all thrash enough to get the dirt off em! If you lose one here or there it’s just natural selection.
Anonymous
You don’t deserve to be the keeper of any living creature. Jeez..this made me so sad to watch. I bet you were cackling watching them suffer and struggle. You monster.
Oosha
This is just cruel! Way too much water! Look at them at the end of the video, they are exhausted.
D-Jay
Hey. Fuck you. Treat your animals better. This may be the proper way to bathe a hedgehog, but you filled the sink up way too much. You can’t generalize and say that all hedgehogs like to swim, because there are going to be some that don’t. This young, you should have started off with just a couple inches of water, not a whole fucking sink.
Jack
Your sink drains really slow… try using draino!
Robin
That was just mean! Hope someone comes and takes them away from you!!!! Asshole!!!
I hate you
YOU FUCKING DICK!!!
Ashley
This is awful! They’re so terrified! What the fuck is wrong with you?
John
Quick Being a bunch of hippies. They didn’t have heart attacks. It’s water not sulfuric acid. Chill out you vegans. I had beef today, you going to scream at me for that too?
NONE-YA
ACTUALLY, I ENJOY BEEF, CHICKEN AND OCCASIONALLY ASS-WHOLES WHO ABUSE CHILDREN AND ANIMALS.. WILL YOU BE HOME IN 10 MINUETS? OK, SEE YA THEN.. I’M HUNGRY!!
your mom
What is an ass-whole?
Stable Master
An ass-whole is someone who is the entire ass, not just the hole.
Relax…
Hey, “NONE-YA”
Just simmer okay? Caps lock, unnecessary. Poor spelling, not surprising.
The animals are fine, none of them died, the owner had complete control over the situation. None of them got hurt, they were just swimming for a bit. Probably got some exercise.
If you’re really that much of an animal rights activist, join a charity, make a difference. Don’t make empty threats under a basically anonymous alias on a site that has next to no effect on the actual world.
Grow up a little.
terra_citizen
I hope they shat on your toothbrush when they finally got out of the sink.
casual observer
LOL! I read the comments first, then watched the video second. I can safely say that the hedgehogs were able to touch the bottom of the sink even at its deepest. This being the case, I don’t think they were in any real danger. I think that maybe they were a little spooked by their first time in the water.
NONE-YA
FUCK OFF.. DO YOU ABUSE ANIMALS TOO? OR JUST CHILDREN?
Dave
Frightened almost to death they pooped in the water, Not so clean?
I Rate this low as you can go.

Hedgehogs float idiots -___-
they were in no danger of drowning.
NONE-YA
SO DO YOU…
Anonymous
Wow, this just made me sad. I thought I was coming to see something cute. Not so much.
Ari
you have issues if you think this is cute.
Rob
I don’t know how many of you bothered to actually look, but their feet seem to be on solid… sink.
Anonymous
I think its hilarious that people think this is torture. When I taught my puppy to swim, I had to hold her in the water because she wanted to get out, when I lowered her in she pooped and then started treading and loved it. Their feet are obviously touching bottom in the sink, not once does their face go under water, and hey, if something poops it poops.
Do you call child protective services on yourself when your kids don’t want a bath? Or when they poop in it?
Also, when you bathe most animals you have to rinse them THOROUGHLY or they will break out in a rash from the shampoo. The best way to do this (believe it or not) is to soak them.
I guess just clean your dutty animals, and stop being so sensitive.

seconded on that last comment…
Lovely Luck
Hedgehogs are like hamsters. They cant really swim. Animal Abuse,
facepalm
I have hedgehogs and not only can they swim, they float (most like it too, but they have to have a trusting relationship with you). But I do agree that this is the wrong way to introduce them to baths.
Mitch
you are a horrible person how can you stand there and watch those poor animals panic such a small space and watch them desperately try to get out
Tim
yea im not to worried the water does not seem that deep. You can see that there feet can touch the bottom.
Andrea
i love animals. next time use less water. that’s it.
Anonymous
Chill out people. They all lived and are just fine. No need to have a panic attack. Maybe you should be more worried about child molesters than someone bathing their hedgehogs.
Nelbert
Wow. What a bunch of high strung people. Shouting crude obscenities at one another because of perceived ill treatment. First: ever give a dog (or worse, a cat) a bath? Second: I don’t think the owner was going to let them drown. Third: try the decaf.
Childlikesong
The comments are half of the fun of this thing. Honestly, it does seem a bit sad that they looked so tired at the end! But I really think that they were fine the entire time. I think people are really overreacting, especially that “none-ya” chick. geesh. get laid.
Emmajoyce34
Hedgehogs are good swimmers and actually enjoy baths more often than not, but especially since these are babies, this was not the correct way to introduce them to something they should learn to like. Hedgehogs should be bathed in a tub or deep sink with an even bottom so they don’t slide deeper than they’re willing to, and you should be extremely vigilant until they show you they can swim on their own. Hedgehogs aren’t very good at keeping themselves clean, especially their feet, and they get dry skin easily so baths (especially oatmeal baths) are a very good and COMMON way to clean them (people who think they shouldn’t be in water at all, quit freaking out). My hedgehog doesn’t love the water, but she knows that when she gets a bath, her skin won’t be dry anymore and she gets to snuggle up in a warm towel afterward. I keep a hand under her belly at all times and if she starts gripping my hand, it usually means she’s ready to get out. Bathing more than one hedgehog at a time is a mistake, let alone FIVE BABIES who haven’t done it before. Also, you don’t drain the water while they’re still in it, christ, the noise and sensation is scary. If they want to get out, let them, don’t toss them back in without reassuring them that they aren’t going to drown. If you want to scare your hedgehogs thoroughly, this is the way to do it.
