Start Em’
Wide Receivers:Jordy Nelson
Nelson has emerged as a top five wide out in football this season. The crafty receiver has 70 receptions for 1,119 yards this year. This week Nelson matches up against a weak Atlanta Falcons secondary. This one is set to be a shootout, which means big numbers for Nelson.
Sweet Jordy Nelson Highlights
Sleeper: Sammy Watkins
Watkins may be a rookie but he is the focal point of the Bills offense. The Bills have a big matchup this week against the Denver Broncos. The Bills may not be able to slow down Manning, which means a shootout. Watkins should shake free a couple times in the contest.
Tight Ends: Antonio Gates
The grizzled vet was unstoppable against the Ravens last week, catching seven passes for 83 yards. The Ravens adjusted their entire game plan in the second half just to slow him down. This week Gates faces a cushy New England defense at home. Plug and play Gates on Sunday.
Sleeper: Greg Olson
Olson has been the most consistent player on the Panthers all season. The Saints will look to make this game a high scoring affair, and if the Panthers would like to keep up they will need to get the ball in the hands of Olson as much as possible.
Team Defense: San Fransisco 49ers
The 49ers are facing an Oakland Raiders team that lost 52-0 last week. The Raiders can’t stop anyone nor put up any points. Play San Fran and enjoy a big stat day.
Sleepers: St. Louis Rams
The Rams have been great all year on defense as they rank in the top 10 for several defensive categories in the NFL. This week they play the Redskins who are playing their backup Colt McCoy. The Rams should dominate this game on defense.
