Since the 1994 film “Little Giants” showcased the clever football play titled “The Annexation on Puerto Rico,” trick plays are a staple in sports. Every day in the Sportcenter top 10 plays we see a well schemed alley-oop, fake field goal attempt or hidden ball trick. Looking to make their place in history, Lewis and Clark Middle School of Jefferson City, Missouri created their trick play dubbed “The Ugly Kardashian.”
The trick play worked to perfection last week as the team scored an easy touchdown. Quarterback Atiq Muhammad took the ball from center and raises it up as if to show the referee that something is wrong. Muhammad walks through the defensive line and points at the ref until he clears the defense, then sprints down the field. The defense is so confused and out of place they don’t stand a chance at catching the quarterback, as Muhammad sprints into the end zone. Catch the video below of the play in action:
