One of characteristics of a good leader is the ability to motivate with words as well as action. Favre was great at both. Later in the pre-gamem the Mississippi native joins the team huddle to rally the troops before their battle with Detroit.
While trotting the sideline his coach says, “Being offensive coordinator is hard,” Favre responds “You should try being quarterback sometimes.” As the statistics come in that Rice has 201 receiving yards on the day, Favre jokingly says “How about a touchdown?
