i have the answer to all of this…someone photoshopped this hyena to a black lab to a golden retriever, and a shark to a cheetah to a leopard. it’s beautiful, really.

  • Anonymous

This is about 10 min before the cat ripped the dog apart :’(

  • Anonymous

why can’t you all just take advise from the dog and cheetah/leopard and get along, dont worry about the details.

  • Anonymous

who gives a fuck whether its a cheetah or a leopard…..

who gives a shit if it is a cheetah or a leopard?

hEy YaLl Is ThAt A cHeETaH oR a LeoPaRd?!

I NEED TO KNOW SO BAD.

Here’s an idea: how about everyone alternate commenting “dats a leopard idiot” with “That’s definitely a cheetah” with “Cheetahs have tear marks, this is clearly a leopard” and occasionally throw in “I don’t have a life and I’m really lonely.”

    • I

THANK YOU! holy crap, some of these comments sound like they’re coming from 3rd graders! get a life! I know employment is low, but please go find a job, people!

      • Veggiexhead

i’m not sure if i trust the people posting these comments to hold a job near me. Might blow up Mcdonalds or something.

This illustrates how many children are online. Most of the retards bashing each other only want to look intelligent or cool or just plain mean. All you look is childish. The whole point of the article wasn’t what kind of animal it is. Even if the cat isn’t what it was said to be a child would get hateful about it where an adult wold nicely point out the error. And there is the perennial little kid that wants to look smart so he claims every graphic on the web is shopped. I submit that a lot of you should grow up. Oh, BTW, I stumbled into this site and with one button I’ll stumble out so feel free to bash me as children will do. I’ll never see it.

  • laughing my ass off

    soo it’s a cheetah, right? awesooomee…

  • Katman

Just a point of correctness, this is a Leopard and a Golden, not a Cheetah as described.

  • The Die Hard

I have five cats (all feral rescues), one blind; three dogs ranging in size from miniature doxie to retriever, nine hens and a rooster of various breeds, and a razorback pig; and the only thing I have to be careful about is putting the cat food out of reach of the retriever, and keeping the razorback away from the computer (she thinks it’s a toy). They all sleep wherever they care to, including my bed. (Had to reinforce the frame.)

A human who understands how to interact with animals does not have to go to much of an effort to get the companion animals to recognize who is the alpha of the pack.

“Your job is to be fast and strong and loud and stealthy and hunt and guard. Mine is to provide fire and roof and can opener.”

They figure out pretty quickly that the one who provides shelter from the storm is the one they guard, and the rest is just for play. (The blind cat hisses at space shuttle landings.)

The one-pound kitten is currently terrorizing the 150-pound razorback over a patch of oregano. There will be no hard feelings later when they get their separate bowls of food.

The cat pictured there is a cross-breed, probably with one of the panther varieties. (Felinoid colors don’t breed true.) A cheetah’s distinguishing characteristic is that their long, dig-in-for-running claws don’t retract, and Spots there is showing no claws.

thats Tommy and Solati! :) i love that episode of unusual animal friends.

  • Elizabeth

The cat isn’t actually being friendly, it’s marking it’s territory – as the same with all cats. Whenever they rub up against you that isn’t affection they’re showing.

  • Manda

honestly, who cares? Let the idiots be idiots. No need to waste time correcting people who think they’re right.

  • slomo89048

Seems to me , alot of different species in the animal world has the ability to co-exist . That is except for humans

  • Anonymous

How is everyone so negative?????? This is a marvel. An amazing picture on two animals- one tame, one wild- coexisting. Deleriously happy together. We’re all fools anyways so let’s just agree to post pretty comments likE HOW CUTE! HOW SPECTACULAR! I LOVE HARMONY. THIS IS REALLY SOMETHING. I APPRECIATE THIS. I LIKE THIS. THIS IS CUTE. • Anonymous

LMAO Thank you all for the comments, it’s been a while since I’ve laughed so hard! Oh yeah, and cute pics too :)

  • aundrea

its a leopard , bigger build, broken spots, no stripes on face and a larger longer face. sorry to burst any bubbles, for the record… leopards are the hardest to tame if anything impossible so it makes the story that much more endearing.

  • Anonymous

To all of you arguing about whether its a cheetah or a leopard…
Its a pretty amazing situation to happen with either of those cats. Well captured who ever took the picture!

  • Anonymous

Nobody thought of using the cheetah’s oversized tail as an example? This is clearly a Leopard, since it’s tail is thiner and follows it’s body’s patterns. Cheetah tails are bigger and dark, they use it as a counter-weight when running.

  • Anonymous

I’m not sure if someone already pointed this out, but cheetahs have purely black spots while leopard spots are a lighter color in the middle with black around them! Definitely a leopard!

  • TO ALL WHO JUST LIKE THE PICTURE

LOL it’s crazy the picture is trying to show peace and within 4 comments (T-nutz) starts something WAY TO GO to ruin the whole idea man.

  • Anonymous

Wow. It’s hilarious that people are arguing whither it is a cheetah or a leopard. When people should just admire that these two animals of different species are friends with each other. And that these are beautiful photos.

  • Dr. Alpaca

    I’m a veterinarian. It’s a leopard. Now stop arguing.

    • Anonymous

I’m a janitor. It’s obviously a mongoose. Prove me wrong.

  • Wendy

It is a leopard, it has nothing to do with the stripes but the spots on the animal, cheetahs have very simple round like black spots, where as a leopard’s spots are more complex.

  • Not an idiot.

You’ll find that this is photoshopped, heavily photoshopped.

  • Anonymous

you guys are all retarded no one fucking cares

  • Nicole

I am seriously in awe at the fact that almost every single comment on this amazing photo is debating over whether its a cheetah or a leopard. First of all, WHO THE FUCK CARES? It’s completely irrelevant what kind of cat it is, the point is it’s a fuckin ferocious wild animal snuggling a dog! Second, you’re even more retarded if you actually feel the need to call someone an idiot for not knowing what kind of cat it is! Cheetahs look a lot like leopards, ok assholes?! Get the fuck over yourself if you actually think you’re smarter than them just because you know the difference between a Goddamn cheetah and a Goddamn leopard. Deuchebags.

  • photoshoppro

    its definitely photoshopped

  • jess

really? this is way to heated.. wow. who cares. its just supposet to be a cute picture

  • alli92a

You are all dumb. Can’t you see that it is a golden retriever!

  • Gina

I live on a farm in South Africa. That is a Leopard. Very definitely a Leopard. That pic comes from SA btw.

  • Santa

I agree with captainplanet, definitely a leopluridon. try knowing your distinct dinosaurs before commenting on a picture where nobody cares about your opinion.

  • Anonymous

seriously does it matter? Its cute, that’s the point. Good thing i’m not one to let people like you ruin it for me…

  • Anonymous

  • Anonymous

hahaahhahahaha wow u guys are sooooo funnyyy:P hahaha the point is the animals are cute together:D hahahhahh

  • josh

its a leopard you do your research??

  • anon

This is leopard. Cheetah’s have solid spots. kinda like polka dots, while leopards have black “circles” with a orange colour in the centre. and yes I am from South Africa and willing to bet money on this.

  • andrew

who gives a shit if its a cheetah leapard or golden retreiver this is fucking adorable

  • http://Drwillycarbuncle.com Dr Willy Carbuncle

I’d like to clarify a few things. First off this is a leopard. It is, however, interestingly, a gay leopard. You can tell by the black rings around it’s anus. Secondly the “dog” next to it is NOT A DOG. It’s a rare breed of “Enamel Horse” commonly found hiding in fig trees during the evening. THE HORSE IS NOT GAY.

    Thanks for your time.
    All the best
